Bella

BABY BELLA
Bella will be two years old on March 1st. Two years ago on April Fools Day I had to put Abby to sleep because she shatterd a vertebra and she was paralyzed. It was a sad day, but I knew that I would have to get another dog soon because of the way Zoey is with other dogs. If I didn't get one soon then I would never be able to get one because Zoey isnt very friendly to other four legged creatures she doesn't know. So I asked my mom to go with me to look at boxer puppies about a week later. If you know us, you know how much we love dogs and so anytime we go and "look" we end up buying. So I already had the cash in my pocket when I went to "Look". We drove way out to Stevenson Alabama and I meet with some breeders who had at least 10 puppies less than 10 weeks old. I saw the white pups and then saw Bella with her one brown eye and one blue eye and I knew she was it. She supprisely isnt deaf or blind as most white boxers are. Althought she has yet to grow up, she keeps us young and makes me and Damian laugh at her facial expression. I sure do miss Abbers and she could never be replaces but Bella is definetly a characters.

About Us

We meet at church, but here is the story.... Damian had been in the Sparkman Ward since he had joined the church. Several years ago the wards split and because my dad was sick and terminally ill, i would go to my parents ward Madison 2nd. After my dad died I decided to start going to the Sparkman Ward, because I was techninally in that ward. Side Note (For those of you who have know clue what a ward is, it is the congeration of church members. In the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, depending on where you phyically live determins which ward you attend). Anyways, so I started to go to the Sparkman Ward and saw him around. I was actually there when he was first baptized and I said hi but nothing came of that first introduction. So back in October I had been going to the Sparkman Ward and saw Damian and thought he was cute. So our friend Justen, wanted to set us us (This was her first match making experience, LOL !!!). She gave him my number and got his number for me and said he should call me. Well I gave it a day or two and nothing so i called him up. We went out the day after Thanksgiving and hit it off great!! Two weeks later we got engaged. We knew it was quick but we aren't a bunch of twenty year olds and we have both been preparing for each other for years!! We felt like we have known each other forever. I always tell him, that God sent him to me at the right time and I am glad I let God choose because I could have never picked anyone better!!

Abber and Zo Zo

My Babies.

I have had Abby since she was 6 weeks old. Many people say that she is me but in dog form. She does have a bit of an attitude, but she is really smart and I don't think she is really a dog. She is addicted to TV, her favorite show is Meercat Manor. I am serious, the picture is evidence. She is so insightful of how i am feeling. She loves her frog and blanket. She is like having a little kid rather than a 4 legged animal. She came with us on vacation and on the trip lost a toe nail, which bleed like crazy and freaked me out. But she's okay and a trouper.

I have had Zoey for a year now, we call her Zo Zo. One Sunday, August 19 2007, she showed up at my door. Some one dumped her and was not very nice to hear. I tried to find her a home several times and things never worked out. In the beginning, Abby was not acting like her normal self due to Zoey, so I made the decision to take her to the no kill animal shelter. I actually made my parents take her. After many tears within a one hours period, my parents came back with her, they were full and not taking any dogs. I took that as a sign that we were supose to work with her and keep her around. She has come a long way and has become a really good dog. She is the total opposite of Abbers, she is 100% dog and like to destroy her toys the minute she gets them. She a character!

I love them both to death they are the world to me.

Vaction and School

For the past two week I have been away from home, man do i miss my own bed. Last week in Massachusetts was the week of experience. Between Proviencetown, National Sea Shore, Plymouth, Cape Cod and a Saw Doctors concert AKA a drunken Irish festival, I was very entertained. Then on the way to Virgina, some how we got lost in Bronx New York, That was interesting. It made me very grateful for what i have. We drove right through the Ghettos of New York and there were buildings that had 27 floors, that is a lot of stairs. Lynchburg has been great, i have learned so much about psychotherapy, techniques and skills. I have also learned a lot about myself, it has been like 30 hours of group therapy.
